Wi-Fi Repeater
This is our most rewarding purchase from Aliexpress. Good internet is important for us on a trip, and the repeater allows us to strengthen the Wi-Fi signal. In almost every second hotel, the signal is weak, and the Xiaomi repeater really helps out. Even if you do not need the Internet to work, the repeater will help you to have a normal video call, upload photos to social networks or watch videos without brakes.
It is charged from a power bank or phone adapter, and is configured in the Mi Home application. Tip: Bring a safety pin with you to reboot your device before connecting to the new network. You can buy on Aliexpress.

The Xiaomi power bank with a capacity of 20,000 mAp is also an indispensable thing in our travels. From it you can fully charge your phone or other gadgets 5 times. Knife
A small folding knife is also our eternal companion. Of course, only if we are flying with luggage, it is not allowed in hand luggage. Especially often used in Southeast Asia: for example, cutting and peeling fruit or dividing baked goods.

Boiler + mug + spoon
These three things have brightened up the trip more than once, because the hotel room does not always have an electric kettle and a set of dishes or a shared kitchen. It's so nice to warm up with tea after a long walk in the city in cold weather! They also come in handy in emergency situations - dilute the medicine if the stomach is caught or a cold has begun. Our boiler is the simplest and most compact, the mug is a lightweight travel metal 0.5 l (weighs nothing).

It so happened that there were only a couple of sockets in the room! Moreover, one of them is inaccessible under the ceiling (this has happened many times in Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and Morocco), and the other is under the bed or behind the curbstone. If you are flying a low-cost airline, it is important to know the exact weight of your carry-on baggage so that you do not move your things in a hurry in front of the check-in counter. Although we have flown so many times that we already determine the entire backpacks by eye with an accuracy of half a kilo, we still carry with us an electronic compact steelyard. It can carry up to 40 kg - you can also weigh a suitcase for luggage.
Another application that will pay off the cost of a steelyard in just a few times is checking if the balance is not overweight in the market. This is common in many tourist destinations. Sellers are shocked by this!

We take a tube of "Panthenol" to both cold and hot countries. When it is cold, it helps to soothe skin with chapped, dryness and pimples. In the heat - first aid for sunburn and just for redness from the sun. He helped repeatedly in the Caucasus, Altai, southern Russia, Europe, Asia. In SEA it can be replaced with aloe vera gel.

We always take 100-300 g of cashews with us. They save when they suddenly feel like eating in transport, the airport or late arrival in a new city.
