The cheapest and most convenient way to fly to Phuket from Moscow is almost always a hot tour. Almost always! For other cities it is different, but more often it is also cheaper to fly by tour. If it is not important for you to organize your vacation on your own, take a tour and do not rack your brains with connections, the choice of airline and baggage allowance.
Tours to Phuket from Moscow usually cost from 50-60 thousand rubles for two - the same as air tickets for the cheapest regular flights with transfers.
Phuket tickets from Moscow
Usually the cheapest way to fly to Phuket from Moscow is with China Southern flights with one or two connections at Chinese airports. Ticket prices start at 26,000 rubles. A flight with one change can still be endured, but with two it is already torture!
Thai Airways, S7, Qatar, Emirates also fly from Moscow with one transfer to Phuket. Cost - from 30 thousand. Sometimes you can get very cheap tickets to Phuket for a promotion - for 20-25 thousand rubles. However, this is rarely seen.
Direct flights from Moscow to Phuket are more expensive. Aeroflot, Rossiya, as well as charters from Azur Air, Nordwind fly. Usually tickets cost from 40-50 thousand rubles, but sometimes you can find it for 30 thousand.

Transfer from airport. The best way to get from the airport to the hotel is to book a transfer using the KiwiTaxi service. The fact is that there is almost no public transport in Phuket - read more about this problem at the end of the article.
Tickets to Phuket from St. Petersburg
With transfers... You can fly to Phuket from St. Petersburg in the same way as from Moscow - by China Southern flights with a million transfers in China: ticket prices start at 25,000 rubles. Another option is to fly to Phuket by Aeroflot or Rossiya flights with transfers in Moscow. Tickets for such flights cost from 35 thousand rubles, connections lasting from 3 hours. The third option is to fly to Phuket from St. Petersburg by Arab carriers with transfers in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, etc. The price tag is the same.
Tickets for direct flights from St. Petersburg can be found for charters from a / c Ikar and Nordwind, but prices are exorbitant - usually around 80-100 thousand.
Tickets from regions of Russia
Residents of which Russian cities have the cheapest opportunity to fly to Phuket Island?
Siberia and the Far East... Thanks to flights from S7 and its partners (Bangkok Airways, Dragon Air, Cathay Pacific), residents of this region can buy inexpensive tickets to Phuket and other Asian destinations. Usually tickets from Irkutsk to Phuket cost from 30-32 thousand rubles, at times - 28 thousand. A flight from Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk and Vladivostok costs a little more - about 32 thousand.
Other cities... Relatively inexpensive tickets to Phuket can also be found for flights from Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Perm, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Volgograd, Mineralnye Vody, Krasnodar - as a rule, these are flights through Moscow. Tickets cost from 32 thousand rubles.
How can residents of the regions save money? Get by train, bus or plane to Moscow (or to Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk, Vladivostok, if closer to them), and from there fly to Phuket. Of course, if the cost of this move does not exceed the difference in price. It is now possible to get to Moscow from many cities of Russia on the flights of Pobeda Airlines and at promotional rates of other carriers (for example, S7), but tickets must be bought in advance or as part of a promotion.
Use long connections wisely - go explore the city! We always do this. Tickets to Phuket can be bought with connections in Hong Kong, Dubai, Bangkok and Beijing - you do not need a visa to enter the city.

The cheapest way to get to Phuket is to fly there using a complex scheme with transfers in Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong or Singapore. Tickets to these cities are usually cheaper than to the island. Buy them, and in addition - a ticket for flights of local low-cost airlines to Phuket. You can fly to the resort for an inexpensive flight, and see other cities and countries along the way.
Skyscanner is the best search engine for low-cost airline tickets - in this regard, it is out of competition. In the examples below, prices will be for a one-way ticket. All flights are direct.
1. From Bangkok
Finding cheap flights to Phuket from Bangkok is easy. They can often be purchased even a few days before departure! We flew this route more than once, usually we pay $ 30-35 per ticket.
It is especially convenient to fly with Orient Thai Airlines: always low prices, the ticket price includes not only 7 kg of hand luggage, but 15 kg of luggage (wow!), As well as water and nuts during the flight, plus a convenient daytime flight and the opportunity to choose for free your place on board.
Cheap tickets to Phuket can be found on Thai Lion Air, Nok Air, AirAsia, slightly more expensive from Bangkok Airways. There are a lot of options - it is almost impossible not to find something cheap. How do you like these tickets for only 10 euros?
2. From Malaysia
From Kuala Lumpur the famous Asian low-cost airline AirAsia (from 10 euros) and other airlines fly to Phuket inexpensively.
From Penang Island there are also relatively inexpensive direct flights to Phuket. You can buy tickets from Firefly for $ 50 - our second trip to Phuket started that way. This option is more likely not to save money, but for pleasure - and relax in Phuket, and get acquainted with the Penang island (I really love this island - in 2015 alone I flew there three times). You can always fly to Penang from Kuala Lumpur very cheaply (literally for 6-10 euros).
3. From Hong Kong
From Hong Kong, inexpensive tickets to Phuket are offered by AirAsia and Hongkong Express - from $ 70. The price is simply gorgeous for such a long distance (3.5 hours flight). Promotions for flights to Hong Kong from Moscow are not uncommon, so this option should be borne in mind. Believe me, Hong Kong is worth visiting!
4. From Singapore
From Singapore, you can cheaply get to Phuket on flights of the low-cost airlines JetStar, AirAsia and Tigerair - tickets cost from $ 35. You will need a visa to visit Singapore.

If you can't find cheap tickets to Phuket for the dates you need, then I advise you to check the availability of tickets for Krabi - suddenly there will be discounts. There is no public transport from the airport to the beaches, and taxi drivers charge up fares.There is a bus to Phuket Town, but most tourists are not interested in this non-beach town. Be prepared for the fact that everything in Phuket is quite expensive: food, fruits, groceries in stores, services, entertainment, drinks in bars.
